Following the solo exhibition “Jack Smith: Taos Portraits” at the Harwood Museum of Art in Taos, New Mexico, his paintings are entering national and international public and private collections. They appear in many publications including Rolling Stone, Trend Magazine, Narrative Magazine, etc.
Originally a portrait painter, Jack’s subjects range from the famous to the unknown, including people on the street. Among his most famous subjects: Nobel Laureate Derek Walcott, actor Dennis Hopper.
